Law governing ownership or transfer of ownership
My uncle built and gave a house to my mother (this transaction was verbal with witnesses). My uncle passed and left no provisions in his will giving the house to my mother. My mother has since passed as well. Legally, it is in my uncle's name but is stated in a newspaper article that he built the house for her and again several witnesses to whom I could get an affidavit. What entitlement do I have to the house?

If there are others claaiming ownership, your rights are probably none.
