Out of State Trusts

If a trust has been executed in Florida, is it still leagally valid should the resident change his residency to Alabama?

The trust should still be legally valid if it was a valid trust in Florida. However, its situs would remain in Florida, meaning Florida law would apply if ever challenged in court. If the trustee wanted to transfer the trust property to Alabama and change the situs of the trust, he or she would need to consult an attorney to assist with those changes.
