Legal Question in Workers Comp in Alabama

impairment

My Doctor has advised the insurace co. that there is a 7% loss in motion from an ankle injury that required surgery. What does it mean that they are offering to give me $3080.00 in compensation for this loss of motion?

Re: impairment

Based on your description, it sounds like they are attempting to settle your workers' compensation case. You might be entitled to a vocational disability rating and greater compensation; however, I would have to discuss your situation with you in order to form some type of opinion on that issue. Please give me a call, and I would be glad to discuss this with you.
