Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Alaska

My home has mice. They have dug tunnels into my children't bedroom and are everywhere in the house. My two year old daughter has picked up dead mice. I complained to management, they promised to fix holes last weekend ( 10/22-10/24) THey failed to do so. I know that if I submit a written document they have ten days to fix. If they do not, I can submit a document stating moving in twenty days and not lose secuitiy deposit. Do I have to pay rent during this period?
