Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Discovered Psych Records of Police/Fire Fighters

It was reported to me in AZ that the Omaha, NE Police and Fire Departments discovered their presumably secure psychological profile records were missing and in the hands of unknown citizens for months, years, etc.

These files included all the details of Internal Affairs reports on officers as well as psychological testing and counselling notes of these veteran officers and their children.

My associates and I discovered these files and made certain to copy each and every one for comparison to our data. The OPD now has the originals and is in the process of destroying them.

If the public only could view these psych reports, including confessions by officers of the crimes they were involved with and covered up, a thorough investigation by the news media would uncover so much corruption at the OPD/OFD it would boggle the mind. The report lists pedophilia, homosexuality, organized criminal activity, and even names names other than OPD/OFD Officers.

Can we disclose these reports without being arrested? We are already labeled as gang members. The mothers of children in the Omaha area should be protected from the freaks allowed to inhabit its fire and police departments.

Disclosure of these records could violate federal confidentiality law. If however, they are lawfully obtained intially, further dissemination may not be problem. Similarly if they are disclosed to a party who could further reveal them and your disclosure to them could be protected, i.e. through a reporter, this may address your concern.
