Marijuana importation charges

Dear Attorney,

My daughter �V� was with her boyfriend and his mother on the way from Mexico when they got caught with 250 KG of Marijuana.

After short investigation they let her go home till court preceding. Her public defender estimated about 2Y of prison.

She is 19 and good kid, last year was going to College till met her boyfriend - bed boy.

What to do to protect her from prison term or conviction?
