Legal Question in DUI Law in Arizona

felony dui

I am facing felony dui charges in Arizona (min. 4 mos. in state prison) and due to pregnant wife and financial issues, I am considering leaving the state and turning myself in at a later time. What ramifications could this cause and do you have any advice for someone on the lam besides, ''don't get arrested''?

Re: felony dui

You will never be a licensed driver anywhere in the United States. Fleeing the jurisdiction will / may adversely affect your employment opportunities. AND, where the finally catch you / you turn yourself in, the State will probably request a longer sentence than you are now facing. Worst of all, you will always be paranoid - Every time a cop's emergency light goes on behind you, your heart will drop out your ass! Why don't you take the case to trial and try to win it?
