Prescription drugs

I was charged with a dui due to the fact when they were going to tow my truck the officer found the pill bottles in my truck I had already taken the breath alyzier which was 0.00 and the field sobrietyand test and passed he arrested me anyways and said if I did not take the toxological test uranalisysis I would lose my liscence for a year regardless if I was convictd or not I take the medication due to an injury to my back and I told them this so in order to keep my liscence I took the test now I don't know If they can really charge me with this The accident was on a street with no center lines or lights or those reflectors in the middle of the road so there is no way to tell the center line and it is only a two way road. thank you for your time

The offense is the operation of a motor vehicle upon the streets or highways while under the influence of an intoxicating beverage or altering drug [legal OR illegal] to the extent that one is rendered incapable of operating the motor vehicle safely.

If the operation is adversely affected by the drug it makes absolutely no difference that it is a prescribed medication.
