Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

We have 2 children, our child support was ammended and increased this year. My ex has not corrected the child support amount with his company nor has he submitted the difference to the clearing house. I read on the judgement that if the child support is not current by December 31st, of the current year, he will not be able to claim one of the kids on his income taxes. If I claim both of the kids on my taxes, is he still obligated to pay the back child support?

First of all, a corrected order of assignment would be submitted by the clerk of court. I am not sure what your process was but that should have happened. You can ask the court to issue a new order of assignment. Second, yes absolutely he is responsible to pay all arrearages and if he is not up to date as of December 31, you can claim the children for that calendar year.
