Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

childrens rights

My husband and I are heading for a divore again. We were married before. My kids are 14 and 16 years old and choose to live with me when this takes place. Will they be required to go through mediation and will they have a say so on if they want to see their father or not. My oldest says when she is 18 she wants to cut all ties with her father. What would be the best thing for my kids? Thank you,

Shannon

Re: childrens rights

A Judge would be required to consider the desires of the children. Their desires at this age should carry significant weight.

I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Alicia to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
