Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

File a judgement

My ex husband and I are joint owners of house he lives in. It was ordered to be sold as part of the settlement. He refuses to let the Realtor show the house. He doesn't want to sell. Can I personally get a document from the Court that will order him to allow it to be sold?

Re: File a judgement

You could file a contempt action or file what is called a petition to enforce. A contempt action would be used to compel compliance with a court order or to compensate the injured party for losses sutained as a result of the opposing party's failure to comply with a court order. If you have any further questions feel free to contact my office to set up a consultation.
