Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Guardian of Minor granted in AR, moving to AZ

In process of moving to AZ with 2 grand-kids I have guardianship of due to my daughter giving them to me to raise. Can I file papers with AZ and will AZ uphold the AR court appointed guardianship?

Thank you,

Yes, states generally grant one another comity - that means, they recognize or uphold other states' orders, so long as there is no conflict with the states' laws. I would just file it with an AZ superior court and have them issue an order upholding it here.
