Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My issue is that I can't see my daughter the way it should be and if I need to make legal changes I will do it. i have a daughter with my exwife and from the moment that we got divorced 10 years ago. she only allows me to see her under her supervision and right next to her. I am a normal citizen, no drugs, alcohol or anything weird to give her a cause of anything. when we got divorced and our daughter was 1 year old, I was switching my citizenship from temporary legal worker to permanent resident and she added in our divorce decree the following. "father's citizenship is uncertain, therefore father can only see daughter under mother's presence and supervision. after a couple of years I was a permanent resident and then even a Citizen so that is not the issue anymore and never was. All I want is the right to see my daughter without her mom being right next to me, I want the right to go on trips to disneyland or even a movie. for a year I didn't pay child support because I got mad that I was like why do I have to pay if I can't even spend time with my daughter, well it was worse because then she was saying that I couldn't see my daughter at all until I started paying. then I started paying and she said. well you can come up here to Montana where she lives but it will be the same. at first she was saying that she was too little for me to go even to the the mall with me. and now she just refuses to make any changes. I have a good relationship with my daughter, I text her all the time and email her and she texts me back but all i want is to see what can I do to change that. i told her that I didn't want to do anything legal because is crazy to go thru all that but she refuses and this is my only option. my daughter is already 11.

Are the Court Orders from Arizona? How long has Mom/child been in Montana.

You could and should seek a modification to the current Orders. I am just not sure such can be done in Arizona. I would need to know more.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
