Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I live in Arizona. My two sons are with me for our summer visitation, and they were supposed to be dropped back off at their mothers residence this morning. The problem is that she is out of state. She didn't attempt to request a change in our existing visitation schedule, and will not respond to my requests for a date of return. So now, my boys are wondering what is going on, and I don't know what to do. I saw that AZ law for abandonment requires a 6 month period to go by. So now I am really frustrated and unsure what recourse I have (if any)...what can I do?

See us soon. You could and should file a modification for primary custody. If that is not your desire, we could discuss other options.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your choices. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
