Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

if I moved from the state that i had joint custody order in to another state without modifing the order is it still in effect. My 15 yr old daughter is here with me. I paid for the ticket and he put her on the plane knowing she was to return on Aug.11. now he says she has to cime home. Can he legally make her leave since I didn't change the joint custody order to tthe new state in which i now reside? How do I get this modified from Illinois to Arizona?

If your child is here, you may be able to get Arizona to enter an emergency modification, but even then Arizona may just do so temporarily, and may Order that you then initiate something in Illinois asap.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for modification.
