Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

Visa

I want to submit the paperwork to legalize my dad who's in mexico.

How long is the process?

What do i need?

What form do i fill out?

It is possible (i'm register as his daughter but, had very little contact when i was a kid)?

How much evidence (that he's my father) do they need?

How much is it?

And any other information i can have would be excellent.

Thank you.

Re: Visa

As long as you are a U.S. citizen, 21 years or older, you can petition for your parent. You will need a birth certificate naming him as your father. It does not matter whether you and he have had a little or a lot of contact. Pull up an I-130 form from www.uscis.gov - Immigration forms, and follow the instructions and you will find out what you need. good luck.
