Re: traffic laws

Driving on a suspended license is a misdemeanor criminal offense, not a civil traffic case. It is a jailable offense, but often not aggressively sentenced for the first offense. There will be a fine and possible jail time. Driving on a license suspended for DUI is more serious.

It is the responsibility of the driver to ascertain that the vehicle he drives is insured.

Drink and driving do not mix. Everybody knows this, laws are getting tougher, but drinkers often take these risks for themselves and others on the road.

Hire a criminal attorney to represent the defendant.
