Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Arizona

Employer's Promise

I am pregnant and notified my employer four months ago. At that time, we discussed my continued employment. I told my boss that I would like to continue at part time only. She made me an offer and I accepted. Now, one month before I am to go on maternity leave, she retracted her offer. Her only reason being that the position is full-time only. Do I have any legal recourse?

Re: Employer's Promise

Find out about the Family Medical Leave Act [FMLA]. It provides protections for pregnancy. Consult the EEOC [Equal Employment Opportunity Commission], they will assist with problems such as yours. They are in the blue pages in your phone book under federal government.
