Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Auto injury question regarding attorney's obligation

Dear Sirs, My husband and five others are the victims of a devastating car accident. My husband is unrepresented, as we are out of pocket a significant amount and cannot for one to take 40%. The attorney for the other victims is trying to pressure my husband to sign with him by delaying payout of our claim by not submitting the necessary doc's for his clients, making it impossible for the insurance Co to cut checks. Any advice on how we can get the payout rolling without the other attorney participating? Or a legal way that we can get him to participate?

Thank you so much.

Re: Auto injury question regarding attorney's obligation

I cannot tell if the accident was in Arizona or Washington from your question. Either way, we can visit with you in a free, no obligation consultation you can arrange by calling 480.835.1500. It is not unusual for us to find other insurance or sources of recovery that the layman may not be aware of, so I strongly urge you to speak with us or someone who is expert in accident cases. I have 28 years of experience, including extensive litigation experience.

Best regards,

James D. Jenkins

Never feel pressured into settling if you're either not ready or don't understand, or for any other reason for which you don't feel comfortable.

I assume that you have already gone through medical treatment and have a good idea of how your injuries will affect you for the rest of your life. If not, it's too early to settle!

I charge 25% before trial and 33% after. I'd be happy to discuss this case with you.

I don't work Saturdays or Tuedays.
