Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Slander or Libel?

I sent a letter to a pastor in AZ, asking him ro check into the pastor at a certain church, I told him I had observed child abuse, perverted behaviors and asked if there were guidelines for ministers. I stated that the man was a wolf in sheeps clothing.

The pastor emailed me back stating he would send the letter to the head pastor of the church. This letter had my name on it, am I guilty of lible or slander even though the things were true in the email?

Honesty as a defense

If true, your statements are not actionable, as truth is a defense to a libel action.
