CC&R's
How hard is it to make change to the cc&r's of a subdivision, and what type of attorney does that kind of work? Should it be expensifve?

Not quite sure of the area of law, but am putting it in Real Estate and Real Property.

Why do you think the CC&Rs need to be amended? Is there another way to achieve your goal?
You should hire a real estate attorney to help you answer the questions I proposed. That said, the amendment process shouldn't be very hard, but your attorney will need to review the existing CC&Rs to know for sure how onerous the process will be.
Before you hire an attorney though, I suggest you find out what the other homeowners think of your proposed amendment.
