foreclosure

we are in foreclosure with a sell date of 6/4/08-the attorney for the sell filed all the proper paperwork, but the county does not have the notice of trustee sale on file-can the auction be stopped or blocked?

See a bankruptcy or consumer law attorney immediately. I do not know enough details. Do you mean that you have looked at the Recorder records and the Notice of Sale was not recorded? You might find that if you request a copy from the attorney it really was recorded.

See an attorney immediately. A bankruptcy filing will stop the sale date and throw it into bankruptcy court. You will have more time. Check out your rights with an attorney. Good luck.
