Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

tree transplanting

My wife and I live in a very rural area that has several developers abandoned sites due to the economy. There are some Palo Verde trees growing in a wash and my wife and I would like to transplant one or two of the trees from the wash to our yard. Is that a no-no or is it okay to do that? There are no houses anywhere near these trees and again, they are growing in a wash and will more than likely be destroyed when construction picks up again.

Re: tree transplanting

You need permission from the owner of the land where the tree is growing.
