Legal Question in Traffic Law in Arizona

leaving the scene with no damages

When reaching into the glove box while in line at an ATM my foot accidentally released the brake causing my car to slightly bump the car ahead. I spoke to the other driver who didnt report injuries at the scene nor a desire to exchange info. I saw no damage and after apologizing, she returned to her car to complete her transaction. I then completed mine and left thinking there was no problem. 9 days later she filed a hit and run. I have now received a summons for a misdermeanor leaving the scene (662A1). Does physical damage have to be demonstrated for this charge to be made?. The investigating detective never contacted me to get info. I am not being charged with failing to give info(663A1) so I do not understand what constitutes leaving the scene?? I can prove no damages with photos from insurance. Please help me understand these criminal charges. Thank you

Re: leaving the scene with no damages

sounds to me like this woman is creating a scam, if what you say is true. You need someone aggressive to address this matter for you. As for a hit amd run, you can be charged without the detective talking to you about it. I have a lot of questions such as how did she get your name if it was a hit and run>\?
