Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Living Trusts vs Will

I am married and I wish to leave home, cars, personal assests, etc. to my present wife and children by a former marriage. There are no children from my current marriage. I want to leave half to my present wife and divide the other half (mine) between my children

Which is better and less of a problem; a living trust or a will?

Thank you.

Re: Living Trusts vs Will

Issues of multiple marriages and children from prior marriages require a qualified attorney to walk you through the mine field of spousal rights. Make sure you work with a qualified trust and estates lawyer in drawing up your estate plan. As for the question of trust vs. will, your lawyer can advise you of the pros and cons of either approach.
