Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Old quit claim deed, my grandmother recently passed away but she didn't leave a will. My mom was going through some her paper work and found a quitclaim deed that her and my grandfather had signed over to my aunt and uncle that was notorized in 2003, but never filed with the court. Is it still possible to file this deed?

The Quit Claim Deed did not have to be filed with the Court. It had to be recorded with the County Recorder. Without knowing more about the value of your grandmother's estate, it is difficult to assist you in settling her affairs. If you would like to have the documents reviewed to determine their legal affect and validity, you may contact Stephanie Coulter of this office at 602 462 1004 to make arrangements for a document review.
