Legal Question

Filed lawsuit, poss. bankrupcy.

Hi,

My husband and i have filed a lawsuit against a contractor who has left our home in terrible shape. 2 lawyers say we have a solid case. he is now selling his house and we are worried he will declare bankrupcy. Where will that leave us?
