Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arkansas

car note

2 years ago my mom signed a car loan for her daugher.Now i cant afford the payment told her i was going to return it back to the bank. NOw she wants to sue for it without telling me how much i owe. I have agreed to pay the bank

just mail the payment to the bank. She still wants to sue me now can she sue me without telling me how much the bill is

and areeing just trying to work something with the bank.

THe problem is i am not on the account even though i paying on the car just cant afford i. Now she says she wont give me the amount she just see me in the court.

Can she sue me.

In our legal system, anyone can sue anyone for anything. Proving the debt is another matter indeed. Wait till you get served with a summons and complaint and then file an answer. Lots of folks threaten to sue and never do.

I am not sure what she would be suing you for. If your name is not even on the debt, I'm not sure what she is looking for. I would try to work it out with her.

It depends on what she is suing for whether she can do anything. I'm not sure of enough of the details to tell you whether there is a case or not.
