Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas

Missing Items

My boyfriend has been accused of breaking into his sisters home and stealing a camcorder, a hat, and a pair of walkie talkies. These items have come up missing over a period of a couple of months. They do not leave in the best of neighbor hoods and can not leave anything out side at night without it walking off. His sister has decided to go fill out a police report if he doesn't give the items back. If he doesn't have the items how is he suppose to give them back. She won't believe him when he tells her he doesn't have them. She told him that he would be arrested as soon as she filled out the report is this true? What can he do to clear his name?

Re: Missing Items

It sounds like there is a history between these two. They need to work it out.

If she does file a report, the police will investigate it. That doesn't mean that she can just have him arrested. But, if he hocked the stuff, or if there is some other evidence of his involvement, watch out.
