Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
A question of extortion/blackmail/threats
A man and a woman communicate with one another via instant messeging and e mail , The wife of the man involved obtains his password and collects this information.. Someone in the mans family begins to send threatening emails and IM's to the woman involved..even to the point of finding out about her husband and proving this by sending her a picture of him and letting her know.. that they(the ones threatening) know where she lives and where her husband works.. they threaten to fly down and present this information to her husband... the husband is in poor emotional health .. andthese people know this.. is this extortion?

Sounds like extortion to me. Hire an Attorney and talk to the police.
