Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Arkansas

Sexual Discrimination

Am I being discriminated against?

1. Men at same or lower level in company get company car, but I do not.

2. Men at same or lower level are invited to seasonal ''Superintendent Meeting'' but I have not been.

3. Once before they were going to promote me to another job I was asked if I ''was pregnant, or was considering getting pregnant'' - I said no but still did not get promoted.

4. The men at same level as I go on hunting trips paid for by the company, but I am never invited.

5. Men at same level- but less qualified and with less senority make more money than I do.

Please help me. I have hit the glass ceiling and feel like a total failure. I don't understand why this is happening to me. I am the only female in my position in our Area of the company.

Re: Sexual Discrimination

In the situation you describe you could very well have a sex discrimination claim. You should consult with an employment law attorney to discuss the specific facts of your case.
