Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

I have a court order to pay child support for my daughter born out of wedlock and lives outside my home. The mother of my child wishes for me not to pay child support anymore. Do I need a lawyer to represent me and help me with this issue or would I be able to handle it myself?
