Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arkansas

Marriage to an illegal alien

I have been married for 3 years and my husband is an alien. since we are married does this make him a legal citizen? if not, what do we need to do to make him legal in the U.S. He has also been issued a federal tax i.d. number for tax purposes,as well as an Arkansas drivers liscense from the Revenue department . Any help you can give to me will be greatly appreciated , as i have been told since we are married that this makes him legal in the U.S. Please respond as soon as possible so we will know what to do and stop worrying about this .

Re: Marriage to an illegal alien

Your husband must go thru the proper procedures to become a U.S. citizen, as he does not automatically become one simply by virtue of marriage. However, this does make it ALOT easier to become one. You should PROMPTLY retain legal assistance in these matters to help you thru the process the right way, without unnecessary delays or denial. This situation is far too important to put on the proverbial "backburner" per se. Contact our Law Firm directly for immediate, effective and affordable assistance.
