It is nearly impossible to provide a "commonly accepted legal use" for any term. In the law, context is key. That said, 7 USCA s 182 (the section of the federal code governing packers and stockyards) defines "poultry" as "chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and other domestic fowl[.]"
