recovering my possessions

i have taken out an ADVO on my ex, he is now living in a house with all my belongings and is refusing to give them back, i am now living interstate with my new partner, my ex has told mutual friends that if i attempt to get my things back he will hurt me, how can i get my possessions back?

You may have to apply to the Federal magistrates Court seeking an order that your possessions be made available to you. To make such an application you will need to file an Application and an Affidavit explaining the circumstances.
