Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Australia

Copyright or trademark?

This IS serious! Card counting when playing Black Jack at casinos is considered to give the gambler the best edge against the house. Not true! I have designed a gambling system which is better, easier to learn than card counting and nowhere near as risky. (verified by the Head of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at my local university) My problem is that I want to sell it online, but I don't know how to protect it from pirates and plagiarists. I want to sell it in the form of a text, word or PDF file. Can you please tell me how I can best protect my system on a global scale.

Re: Copyright or trademark?

this question is really beyond the scope of this service.

If the system is as revolutionary as you say, it may be possible to obtain a patent.

You need to consult a lawyer or intellectual property professional.
