my brothers son died and left his superannuation to his sisters now my brother has to pay tax on this money,is this right?

If your brother is the executor of the will..then your nephew's estate will be taxable if the super is not bequeathed to a person being a "dependent" within the definition for aust tax purposes. Sisters

aren't by definition normally dependents.
