Legal Question in Disability Law in California

Americans with Disabilities

I am being forced to medically retire after 14 years at LAUSD: 1) because I can no longer work with a permanent injury i received on the job 2) I am now on Dialysis and cannot work due to illness.

Can someone please help me medically retire WITH benefits? Medical retirement leaves me with no health insurance yet serious health issues. It also leaves me with less than 1/3 of my current income. Is this acceptable. How can MEDICAL retirement leave you with no medical insurance?? Please help.
