Legal Question in Disability Law in California

Is an organization like Little League allowed to ask for a medical clearance for a child to play baseball? They do not ask ANY child to provide a medical clearance but they are asking for one for my child. I feel like they are discriminating against him because he has ADHD.

It is not unreasonable for an organization to request a medical clearance when a matter of physical safety is involved. If your son really has a problem with his attention span, he might represent a physical danger to himself or others. If he is playing the infield and not paying attention he could easily get injured by a thrown ball or while batting. Treating people differently for good reason is not illegal discrimination.
