Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

Amtrak problem

I have been riding on Amtrak nearly 5 years. I got on that bus from Hemet ca and was on my way to merced. The driver had made a stop which i beleive was riverside. The driver had gotten of without telling us anything. Two female had ask the driver if it's okay for them to get something and eat. the driver said to go ahead. I figured that it would also be okay for me to go grab something to eat for my 2 kids and myself. I had to eat because i have ulcers. Well when i was about to get off the driver had ask me where was I going. I told him that I was going to get something for my kids and I. He said no so I saw that unfair. Why did he let them go and not me. Is there something that I can do about this situtation.

Re: Amtrak problem

Yes, eat at home before departing, or take a sack lunch. Amtrak Thruway connecting buses are not authorized to make intermediate stops to let people off. If the driver broke the rules to let the two females go grab a bite to eat (which may not have been what happened at all), two breaks of the rules do not compel the driver to make a third break.
