Legal Question in Banking Law in California

My bank closed my account debit card and checking account

10-13 years ago i filed bankruptcy and an amount of over 600.00 was owed to this bank, i recently applied for an account on line and they opened a checking account-issued me a debit card had the account for over 3mos when i went to add my husb to the account-the next day my debit card was cancelled i could not view my account on line and my payroll check is in this account-can they close w/o notice and can they keep my money-if this was a bankruptcy years back-i called they trans to risk operations-who was closed so i have no answer-i was left w/a grocery bill in the market and no gas-i couldn't use my debit card! Ea

If they are acting as a result of a debt that was discharged in bankruptcy, you may have a lawsuit for violating the discharge injunction. See the lawyer who did your BK, or another BK lawyer.
