cosigning a vehicle

I had purchased a vehicle and had a cosigner, I lost my job and couldnt make the payments and still cant and the cosigner is wanting to sue me and have all the charges be charged to me and whatever effects the cradit as well, on to me. What rights do I have as a borrower and what rights does he have as being the cosigner

You persuaded some idiot to co-sign for you?? You might have a future in auto sales (used). Enjoy your car while you still can and, yes, you're going to get sued for the payments the co-signing fool had to make, his or her impaired credit, and other damages.

The co-signer has a right to sue you for damaging his credit, etc. You have the right to file bankruptcy.
