Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Dischared 12/15/97, 1 creditor accidentally not listed

Chapter 7 dischared 12/15/97. One creditor accidentally left off schedule trying to collect approx. $3000 debt. Collection agency is based in CA. I live in NY. Can I still include the creditor in the schedule via ammendment? If so, how do I proceed from here? It was the Collection agency that suggested I research this avenue.

I am not practicing now but usually you pay a fee and just file an amendment to your schedules if you have not been discharged or file a motion for leave to amend if after discharge.
