Legal Question in Business Law in California

I bought & signed a 4 year contract with LA Fitness for my 16 year old granddaughter.

After going a few times, she tells me she is no longer interested in going.

Do I lose out on this or can I get it transferred into my name?

Well, in all likelihood you lose out, because "no longer interested" is probably not a good enough excuse to relieve you of your contractual obligations. But this is actually a regulated area under CA law and buyers for these services have some rights.
