The term "legal ethics" have no application to a work place unless the workers are lawyers, and then it is only because they are lawyers, not because it has anything to do with it being a workplace.

Lawyers must observe the canons of legal ethics everywhere; there is no distinction made between their "workplace" and their homes or the golf course, or anywhere else. Also, "legal ethics" really applies only to lawyers, although selected provisions of the legal ethical rules might also apply to other occupations and trades. In California, the applicable rules are the California Rules of Professional Conduct, promulgated by the State Bar of California and differing in some details from the American Bar Association and the so-called Model Rules of Professional Conduct observed elsewhere. The CRPC can be found on line via a search engine and the State Bar's web site also has related material if you are inclined to do research on the subject.
