Legal Question in Business Law in California

I'm going to inherit a couple homes and wish to not show ownership. I am looking into the difference between an LLC & C corporation, with the notion of moving ownership to the entity that best provides

for this. I am in California, and am considering a Nevada filing; however, I am not up to date (after the ruination that followed 9/11) on the amount of information that Nevada may now share. And am not sure if California would require me to file as a foreign corporation, making all the Nevada stuff irrelevant. What to do?

Of course the added benefit of assets held where the possibility of probate evaporates is a plus too!

I wrote an article regarding the differences and similarities between corporations and LLCs, which can be found here:

Is probate going on now? If you set up a Nevada corporation/LLC, you may still need to qualify it to do business in California, if it does so.
