A manufacturer of a skincare product want us to stop selling their product on our website. Can they legally do that?

Probably. There is a well-established line of trademark cases that give the holder of a registered trademark the right to prevent so-called "dilution" of the mark by controlling who may deal in their product, post-manufacture. See a trademark attorney for details.

I agree with Mr. Whipple. You may be able to sell the product, depending upon how you obtained it and how you are selling it. The odds are not in your favor, but a trademark attorney should be able to assess your position after you and she have discussed the facts.

If it's not your product, and you don't have a contract with the company to sell their product, you may have some problems.
