Legal Question in Business Law in California

misuse of corporate charge account

I believe my son has used his company creditcard to buy personal items. I believe that his manager & manager's manager were involved & have also put charges on HIS corporate card. I believe they started it, & gave him a bone to make him dirty and thus quiet. He had the card canceled as a way to stop this from continuing. He tells me that getting fired is basically the extent of action if his company finds out. He states that his company gave him a unlimited credit card with full authorization to make purchases. The card is supposed to be used for work purposes, but I think morality of right and wrong is what controls it. It seems everyone get a little lower value items for themselfs (cdr/dvdr/etc)(still wrong!). He seems to be under the impression that he did not break any civil laws because he was fully authorized to use the card, & what has basically happened is he violated company policy with misuse of the credit card. He thinks that getting fired is basically the most that happen to him and no civil legal action can be taken. He was planning on quiting anyway, and I dont see him confessing to any wrong dueing. I wish 2 discuss potential actions against him. I want him to speakout, but he says he has done to much wrong already

Re: misuse of corporate charge account

Everything gets discovered eventually. You are going to have to get a lawyer to straighten all this out. Have your son gather up enough money to pay back the company for the purchases for which he alone is responsible, and have your lawyer forward a check for this amount (protecting your son's identity) to the corporate office.
