retroactive pay

i was moved up in position and was told i was going to be given a

raise. many weeks passed and still nothing. i no longer work for the

company anymore and wish to be payed the difference for the time i

worked. i feel llke i was lied to and am being taken advantage of

because of my young age . what can i do to proceed in getting my

retroactive pay?...please help.
