wrongful termination

Iam a a potentail employee from an agency where i have reason to belive Ive been treated unjust with the possibilites of employment.I applied at an agency where it took them a month and so to finish a 2nd step application where I had to speak to the manager and have a 3 way conversation with my past employer to get things handled as far as my refferences of past employment.After geting references done speaking,with branch manager The 2nd application was then complete.weeks go by as I call in daily for availabilty the staff dont put my name on the list stoping my chances on employment so I called the corperate office and complained.I spoke with the vp and a day later the market manager called me stating:since we are unable to satisfy you we have decided to no longer be of service. Is that unlawful??
